Virtual Medical Coder

Mommy Jobs Online (https://mommyjobsonline.com) is now looking for
someone to fill the position of a Virtual Medical Coder to work in the U.S. only.

JOB TYPE: Full-time; MUST be U.S. citizen.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Execute in-depth daily coding of pathology services received.
 Accurately abstract CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9, ICD-10, and modifiers as
appropriate per clinical documentation.
 Query and provide feedback to providers and other clinical
department personnel.
 Perform other related functions as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
 High school diploma or a GED; or equivalent experience.
 Must be AHIMA or AAPC certified.
 Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CCS, RHIT or RHIA .
 Three years of coding experience in Surgical Pathology Profee
Coding.
 MUST have worked in Profee Coding within the last year.
 Epic and 3M experience is required.
 Experience in Orthopedic surgical coding is required; prefer specific
experience with foot and ankle and oncologic coding.
 Strong skills in CPT, ICD-9/ICD-10, & HCPC coding applications.
 Abstraction of Evaluation and Management Rules (1995 and 1997) is
preferred.
 Coding and knowledge of minor procedures is preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer, Internet, and a home office set-up.

PAYMENT: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
