Inpatient Hospital Corporate Coder

Mommy Jobs Online (https://mommyjobsonline.com) is now looking for someone to fill the position of an Inpatient Hospital Corporate Coder to work remotely in the U.S. only.

JOB TYPE: Full-time; MUST be a U.S. citizen.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position functions under the direction of the Health Information Corporate Coding Manager.
• Accurate coding and abstracting of clinical information from the medical record.
• Maintain the standards for coding data quality and integrity, as well as
productivity within established guidelines.
• Assist with productive coding to maintain Discharged Not Final Coded (DNFC), quality chart reviews, with the training of new CC’s and/or other projects where indicated.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Successful completion of at least one AHIMA certified program with the achievement of the correlating professional credential preferred (RHIA, RHIT, and / or CCS, etc.).
• Associates or a higher-level degree in a Health Information Management discipline.
• Minimum of four years of Medicare Inpatient Acute Care hospital experience.
• Supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with 3M-360 software is a plus.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer, Internet, and a home office set-up.

PAYMENT: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
