Professional At Home Jobs (https://professionalathomejobs.com) is now in search for a Remote Medical Information Consultant to work in the U.S. only.
JOB TYPE: MUST be a U.S. citizen. Part-time (20 hours/week); Need to be able to work 4 hours/day Mon-Fri between 8:00 am-4:30 pm CST.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide accurate and timely clinical, medical, and scientific information upon the unsolicited requests of external healthcare professionals and customers, as well as internal functional areas.
- Create and maintain standard response documents, and other correspondences that are necessary to respond to the requests of internal and external customers, within the Medical Information Content Management system.
- Represent Medical function to review and approve U.S. Advertising and Promotion material (including brochures, sales training material, etc.) ensuring that the medical and/ or scientific information is medically accurate, not misleading, medically relevant, well substantiated with rigorous scientific data, balanced with appropriate risk and benefit information, and is consistent with approved product labeling.
- Participate in initiatives that improve and streamline current processes within Medical Information to improve medical communication services to internal and external customers.
- Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Medical Information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
- Clinically skilled and licensed Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Medical Doctor with Operating Room (OR) experience and knowledge.
- Prior experience in Medical Information is a plus!
- Knowledge of computer systems including Windows applications required.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations for medical communications is a plus!
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills. Ability to search and summarize medical literature or data accurately and appropriately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations as well as a demonstrated record of responsible actions.
- Self-motivated with exceptional follow-through.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer, Internet, and a home office set-up.
PAY: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
