Job Requirements
Responsibilities
You will need to have experience in 2 of the following areas:
Paints, repairs roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of the building structure.
Assembles installs and/or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing.
Performs minor landscaping around the facilities.
Repairs clean and polishes furniture and fixtures.
Inspects designated areas of the dealership and repairs and cleans when appropriate.
Performs heavy duty cleaning around the dealership, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
Moves heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks throughout the dealership, as needed.
Assist in any maintenance needed around the dealership.
Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.
Skills or Expertise
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent desired;
Previous maintenance experience or related field desired;
Ability to determine causes of operating errors in a facility and deciding what to do about it; operate hand and power tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance and gardening; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public;
Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
